California Pinback Collecting Time Capsule
Posted by Ted Hatfield on
California has been in the news recently because of a very tense situation involving a breach in the tallest dam in the US. Almost 200,000 people near the Oroville Dam had to evacuate while the water management team tried to stop the water flow. As of this writing, they have plugged the danger for now and the residents have gone back home.
Life in California isn't always this scary and this month Tedztuff.com is featuring a cool collection of Pinback Buttons that give a glimpse of the more fun Cali Life in the late 70s and early 80s.
The buttons feature images from Knotts Berry Farm, Universal Studios, Disneyland, Orange County Fairs, E.T., and even lesser known local chapters and events. The buttons range in size from a huge 3" to as small as 1.5" each. All have that "been there" patina on the reverse with bright colorful images of Cali life on the front.
If you are wanting to relive a California memory, or simply add to your collection of places you'd like to go, these buttons are for you.
So celebrate the Golden State and their recent victory over the Oroville Dam with a very cool pinback or two. As always, we combine shipping.
Thanks for spending a little time at Tedzstuff.com
